About the Position

We are seeking a skilled statistician to join our research team at Uppsala Monitoring Centre. The successful candidate will have a strong background in biostatistics, causal inference, epidemiology, or statistics, and proficiency in Python and/or R.

The position will include participation in and support of research projects, as well as a support role to our safety signal management team. The ideal candidate will be innovative, independent, driven, and able to devise relevant research questions.

Key Requirements:

  • MSc degree in statistics, mathematics, epidemiology, engineering, or another related quantitative discipline.
  • At least two years of working experience in biostatistics, causal inference, epidemiology, or statistics.
  • Proficiency in Python and/or R.
  • Prior experience working with medical data.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
