Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and accomplished Material Scientist with expertise in understanding the properties of process materials to create innovative and sustainable solutions for medical device and pharmaceutical manufacturing.

As a Material Scientist, you will play a crucial role in the development and enhancement of process materials, and you will have the opportunity to impact the future of technology and material solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead efforts to develop and improve materials for enhanced performance and sustainability.

2. Utilize advanced techniques for material characterization and analysis.

3. Design experiments and test protocols to evaluate material properties.

4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new materials into products.

5. Identify and resolve material-related issues in manufacturing and applications.

6. Document research findings and present them in scientific articles, reports, and conferences.

7. Stay updated with the latest developments in material sciences and provide technical leadership.

8. Identify and implement process improvements for cost reduction and efficiency gains in manufacturing.

Skills & Qualifications

1. Ph.D. or MSc in Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or a related field with a strong research background and exposure to medical device and pharmaceutical manufacturing.

2. A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, preferably within industry or academia.

3. Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data.

4. Demonstrated success in enhancing technical competence and driving process improvements.

5. Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and project management experience.

6. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

7. Ability to work both independently and as part of a cross-functional team to achieve common goals.

8. Attention to detail and comfortable with critical thinking and decision making.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Familiar with regulatory requirements for medical device and pharmaceutical manufacturing.

2. Active participation in relevant scientific communities and/or publications in related fields.
