Job Summary:
ULTEUM is seeking a highly skilled Contract Manager to join our team in Northern Sweden. As a Contract Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting our Project Leads, Construction Managers, and other stakeholders in managing site contractors and ensuring the successful delivery of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contract Administration: Manage site contractors in terms of contract management and administration, ensuring compliance with project requirements and standards.
- Team Collaboration: Work as part of an integrated, cross-functional site team to address contractual and commercial risks and implement mitigation measures.
- Contractual Risk Management: Identify, capture, analyze, mitigate, and track project risks, ensuring uniform interpretation of contractual clauses and consistent handling of change requests, change orders, and claims.
- Contract Negotiation: Participate in the review and examination of contracts to support negotiations and ensure alignment with project requirements.
- Communication and Coordination: Interface with other departments, such as Legal, Engineering, Finance, and Technical, to ensure effective communication and coordination.
- Compliance and Governance: Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and systems, and support the Project Site and Contract Management teams with contractual issues and correspondence.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience as a Contract Manager for major construction projects.
- Education: Legal, Commercial, and/or Technical background; university degree or equivalent.
- Skills: Open, articulate, and transparent communication, both verbal and written.
