Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Specialist to join our team at Belmont Lavan Ltd. As a key member of our payroll team, you will be responsible for managing the entire payroll process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with labor laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage payroll processing, including collection, control, and processing of payroll documents.
  • Utilize Agda as the primary payroll system to process payroll, manage absence reporting, and generate reports.
  • Ensure payroll processing complies with applicable labor laws, tax regulations, and collective agreements.
  • Develop and analyze payroll reports, statistics, and other relevant documents for management and the finance department.
  • Perform ongoing reconciliations of bookkeeping and salary payments.
  • Provide support and advice to employees and managers on salary-related matters and payroll processes.
  • Identify areas of improvement in the payroll process and propose measures for efficiency.
Requirements
  • Relevant education in payroll administration, HR, or finance.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience working as a payroll specialist or in a similar role.
  • Experience of working with the payroll system Agda is an absolute requirement.
Desirable Skills
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to work carefully and structured with large amounts of data.
  • Good knowledge of Agda and experience of working with other payroll systems or HR systems.
  • Analytical skills with the ability to analyze payroll-related data and generate insightful reports.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in Swedish and English.
  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and solve problems in the payroll process efficiently.
  • In-depth knowledge of labor law, tax regulations, collective agreements, and other relevant regulations.
Personal Qualities
  • Accuracy and attention to detail with a strong sense of precision.
  • Independent and responsible with the ability to take own initiative and drive the payroll process forward.
  • Good cooperation skills with the ability to work in a team and independently.
  • Flexibility with the ability to adapt to changing conditions and handle several tasks at the same time.
Meritorious Qualifications
  • Experience of working with payroll systems other than Agda.
  • Experience of payroll management in the manufacturing industry or service sector.
  • Experience of managing salaries in an international context.
  • Experience of working with GDPR in the payroll process.
