Piping/Mechanical Inspector

TN Sweden is a leading provider of technical services and solutions. We are currently seeking a qualified Piping/Mechanical Inspector to join our team for a renewable project on a refinery site in Sweden.

The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality in the Piping/Mechanical discipline, working closely with the Site Quality Manager and the project site team.

The Key Responsibilities include:

• Conducting regular inspections and monitoring of subcontractor construction execution.
• Reviewing and approving documentation to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Identifying and reporting any quality discrepancies or defects, and coordinating with Construction Engineering and Management to initiate timely analysis and resolution.
• Providing expert advice and support to the site team in their area(s) of expertise.

Typical Qualifications include:

• Technical or Engineering Technology diploma, degree or equivalent.
• Minimum Six (6) years of QA/QC work-related experience.
• Minimum Three (3) years of onshore construction site work-related experience.
• High level of experience in inspecting the following areas (with applicable certification from a recognized authority): Welding & non-destructive testing, Piping & fixed / rotating equipment installations.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Swedish, or Nordic nation, work permit holders preferred (EU and UK persons may also be eligible for the position based on experience).
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Willing to relocate to Sweden.
