About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled PLM/PDM Administrator to join our global technical team at Essity. As a key member of our technical center of excellence, you will be responsible for administering our CAD/PDM software applications, documentation standards, and product lifecycle management for Tork dispensers.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer Solidworks CAD and PDM systems, ensuring industry best practices and efficient utilization among internal and external users.
- Develop and maintain technical data for quality and regulatory files, ensuring system capability and defining standards.
- Provide technical support and coaching to system users, developing training materials as needed.
- Manage Solidworks licenses and maintenance contracts globally, ensuring seamless system operation.
- Act as a gatekeeper for data transfer between the system and external resources, managing external user accounts and ensuring secure access.
- Develop and utilize efficient workflows for product specification lifecycle management, including new product launches, upgrades, and obsolescence.
Requirements
- 2-3+ years of experience working with 2D/3D CAD documentation and PDM or PLM systems in a product development and/or manufacturing environment.
- Direct or indirect experience in continuous improvement environments or with quality management systems.
- Proven competence in PLM systems and documentation with a quality focus, steering manufacturing processes.
- Demonstrated experience creating 3D CAD models/assemblies and 2D CAD drawings, with Solidworks experience or certification an advantage.
- International exposure and fluency in English, both verbally and written.
