We are looking for a PLM/PDM Administrator within Essity´s global unit for Brand, Innovations and Sustainability which delivers global brand development and innovation for Tork, the world’s leading professional hygiene brand.

The PLM/PDM Administrator is a key position within a global technical center of excellence. This role is responsible for administering the CAD/PDM software applications, documentation standards, and product lifecycle management for Tork dispensers. This position is an important liaison between innovation, product management, and manufacturing.

Job Description

The PLM/PDM Administrator will be responsible for administering our Solidworks CAD and PDM systems. The role will be an internal expert and key contact for internal/external stakeholders in the areas of 2D/3D modeling standards, Product Lifecycle Management, and PDM System Administration including Software Upgrades, managing Engineering Changes, and improving system efficiency. This role will share design and technical knowledge, acting as an expert advisor to internal product developers, external engineering partners, manufacturing vendors, sourcing, and supply chain. This is a global position, which will interact with many stakeholders from various countries on a regular basis. Typical tasks for PLM/PDM Administrator would include:

Administration and continuous improvement of Solidworks CAD and Solidworks PDM Professional software to drive industry best practices and ensure utilization and efficiency among internal and external users.

Ensure system capability and define standards to maintain necessary technical data for quality and regulatory files.

Develop training materials and provide technical support and coaching to system users.

Manage all Solidworks licenses and maintenance contracts globally.

Gatekeeper for the transfer of data between the system and external resources, including the management and administration of external user accounts.

Develop and utilize efficient workflows for the lifecycle management of product specifications for new product launch, upgrades/maintenance, and obsolescence.

Who are you:

2-3+ years working with 2D/3D CAD documentation and PDM or PLM systems in a product development and/or manufacturing environment

Direct or indirect experience in continuous improvement environment or with quality management systems.

Proven competence in PLM systems and documentation with quality focus to steer manufacturing. Experience with "Solidworks PDM Professional" is an advantage.

Demonstrated experience creating 3D CAD models/assemblies and 2D CAD drawings. Solidworks experience or certification is an advantage.

International exposure is a merit.

Fluent in English, both verbally and written.
