**Job Summary**

The Deputy Station Manager is a key role within Deutsche Lufthansa AG, responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service and operational excellence at our airport stations.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with high-value customers to deliver personalized service and drive customer loyalty.
  • Act as the face of customer care, providing exceptional service and support to customers in designated areas.
  • Lead by example, upholding the company's product philosophy and values among staff to maintain high standards of service.
  • Monitor and maintain high standards of staff appearance and attitude, ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • Conduct daily flight briefings to keep personnel informed and prepared, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Oversee the performance of all suppliers involved in airport operations, ensuring compliance with company standards.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and update procedures, ensuring operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Support the Station Manager in handling processes for alternate airports, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Act as the Station Manager's right-hand person, providing support and guidance in all station matters.
  • Ensure compliance with operator's manuals and local interface agreements, maintaining high standards of service and operations.

    **Requirements**

    • High school diploma/GED required; Bachelor's degree desirable.
    • 3-5 years of work experience in the airline industry, with a focus on customer service and operations.
    • 2-3 years of work experience in ground handling, with a focus on airport operations.
    • Leadership experience desired, with a proven track record of success in customer-facing roles.
    • Excellent written and spoken English language skills required, with knowledge of German and/or Swedish language desirable.
    • Knowledge of airport procedures and processes, with experience in passenger service and/or aircraft handling.
    • Successful completion of training in passenger service and/or aircraft handling, including DCS systems.
    • Proficiency in PC and aviation-specific software/tools, including MS Office programs.
    • Project management and strategic thinking desirable, with a focus on operational excellence.
    • Must possess a permit to work in Sweden, with a valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
    • Must be willing to work shifts, with flexibility to adapt to changing operational needs.
    • This position is available at 80%-100% FTE, depending on the candidate's availability and preference.
