Job Description

The Business Infrastructure Management Director is responsible for managing the IT infrastructure services for Volvo Construction Equipment (VCE). The role involves capturing the IT service needs of VCE and ensuring they align with Group IT strategies and service deployment roadmaps.

You will oversee VCE requests for existing IT services, plan and prioritize them, and ensure their successful delivery. Additionally, you will manage IT equipment expenses and capital budgets on behalf of VCE.

Your primary focus will be on building strong relationships with business stakeholders and Volvo Group Digital and IT teams, particularly in the areas of Infrastructure and IT services.

  • Create an efficient and reliable day-to-day operation for VCE.
  • Evaluate and approve demands and requests from VCE.
  • Determine which requests should be prioritized to align with service deployment needs and IT budget constraints.
  • Initiate service deployment initiatives within the allocated budget.
