About the Role

Vattenfall is seeking a seasoned Solution Architect to join our team, responsible for architecting our enterprise asset management and logistics on SAP S/4HANA. As a key member of our Group IT Architecture team, you will guide strategic projects to successful execution based on fit-for-purpose architecture.

You will consult and educate the Nuclear business on SAP, IT strategy, integration strategy, data strategy, and SAP strategy. Your solid understanding of IT security will support Nuclear in fit-for-purpose adoption. You will have or build up Nuclear and SAP domain knowledge to become the go-to point for advancing its S/4 journey.

As a trusted advisor, you will help us grow our Enterprise thinking and establish standards and architecture principles. You will be our point of contact for Nuclear and other business areas to enable their operating model by technology, including radical change.

Key Responsibilities
  • Architecting our enterprise asset management and logistics on SAP S/4HANA
  • Consulting and educating the Nuclear business on SAP, IT strategy, integration strategy, data strategy, and SAP strategy
  • Supporting Nuclear in fit-for-purpose adoption of IT security
  • Becoming the go-to point for advancing Nuclear's S/4 journey
  • Helping to grow our Enterprise thinking and establish standards and architecture principles
  • Being a trusted advisor for Nuclear and other business areas to enable their operating model by technology
Requirements
  • Hands-on experience with SAP solution architecture, preferably in water or energy utilities, manufacturing, or automotive
  • Comfortable communicating with both IT and non-IT colleagues on different levels in the organization
  • Experience with Enterprise Architecture and Frameworks in an international environment
  • Deep SAP technical knowledge and general IT knowledge
  • Ideal experience in an asset-intensive industry, understanding security considerations, IEC 62443, ISO27001, etc.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure Well-Architected Framework
  • Skills to produce enterprise-ready architecture documents and direct complex problems into concise Management Board actions
