Job Description

As an Archivist at IKEA Älmhult AB, you'll be responsible for developing routines and working methods for information management. You'll review the conditions for E-archive and digitization, ensuring the archive services are adapted to changes in the organization or systems used.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Arranging, listing, receiving, and delivering archival material
  • Making confidentiality assessments
  • Developing policies for information management
  • Project management within archives

You'll work with both physical and digital archives, using your expertise to ensure the preservation of historical records, photos, films, drawings, and artefacts.

Required Skills and QualificationsQualifications:
  • University degree in information management, information security, archival science, librarianship, or an equivalent qualification
  • Knowledge of archival- and preservation needs in various materials
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in archival work and management

We're looking for someone with excellent IT skills, including experience with electronic databases and documents, database management, and digital asset management.
