Job Overview

As a DC Controlling Manager at TN Sweden, you will contribute significantly to the success of the Distribution Center. Your primary responsibility will be to collaborate closely with regional controlling and DC operations teams to drive business results, optimize performance, and ensure compliance with regulations.

You will have significant experience in team leadership, having empowered collaboration, co-creation, and personnel growth in previous roles. Additionally, you will possess excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Strategy Development

You will work closely with the DC management team to develop and communicate strategic plans to achieve business objectives.

Financial Performance

You will create and track budgets, forecasts, and other financial documents to ensure accurate financial reporting and decision-making.

Team Leadership

You will lead and motivate the controlling team to deliver exceptional results, focusing on team development and growth.

  • Departmental Support

You will provide expert financial guidance to various departments and teams, enabling informed business decisions.

Process Improvement

You will analyze data and trends to identify opportunities for improvement, optimizing processes and reducing costs.

Quality Assurance

You will ensure accurate invoicing and quality checks of major expense items.

Reporting Structure

You will establish and maintain a reporting framework for regular monitoring of business performance, aligned with global standards.

Partnerships

You will engage in effective contract negotiations, fostering partnerships with external suppliers.

Planning Validation

You will closely monitor and validate planning processes to ensure seamless execution.

Requirements:
  • Educational Background

A Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Finance, Business, Economics, Supply Chain or equivalent.

Work Experience

3-5 years in a business analyst or similar finance role for a retail company preferred.

Leadership Abilities

Several years of experience in team leadership and the ability to promote collaboration, co-creation, and personnel development by empowering others.

Union Knowledge

Experience of working with the Union.

Critical Thinking

Strong problem-solving skills and analytical mindset.

Domain Knowledge

Deep knowledge of controlling, logistics, DC operations, and finance.

Project Management

Solid skills in project management, prioritization, and business case development.

Languages

Great communication skills in both Swedish and English.

Social Awareness

Self-awareness, understanding your impact on others, and contribution to the whole group.

About the Position

This is a full-time position starting with a probationary period of 6 months. The location is based in Eskilstuna and part of the Logistic Region Europe.

You will be a part of the management team and report directly to the DC Manager. Collective agreement with Unionen.
