The RoleWe're seeking a highly skilled Technical Product Owner to lead our Core Banking team. As a key member of our product team, you'll be responsible for defining the culture and ways of working at Brite. You'll collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements, prioritize features, and ensure alignment with company goals and industry standards.
Responsibilities- Lead, mentor, and inspire the team to deliver high-quality products.
- Assume technical ownership of the product, driving decisions on architecture and implementation while ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
- Prioritize and maintain the product backlog, ensuring it aligns with business objectives and customer needs.
- Write clear and detailed user stories with acceptance criteria, ensuring they're well-understood by the development team.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and maintain alignment.
- Own the delivery for the CORE team at Brite, ensuring product development happens in an efficient and structured way and in line with agreed timelines.
- Promote adherence to Agile principles, granting the team autonomy in their workflow while guiding them to stay aligned with Agile best practices.
- Gather and analyze customer feedback to continuously improve the product.
- 3+ years of experience from a leading role in a product development environment.
- General knowledge about the payments industry or extensive experience from high-transaction environments.
- Engineering background in cloud platforms, preferably GCP.
- Knowledge and experience from leading development teams in an agile environment.
- Key qualities are integrity, analytical skills, and ability to create buy-in around you. You enjoy taking the lead and bringing people along on the journey.
- Strong drive and interest in building great products.
