Our team is at the heart of Brite, and we are looking for a talented individual to join us as a Technical Product Owner for Core Banking. In this role, you will lead a team responsible for building the core business functionalities that serve as the foundation for other product teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a high-performance team, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Assume technical ownership of the product, driving decisions on architecture and implementation while ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Prioritize and maintain the product backlog, ensuring it aligns with business objectives and customer needs.
  • Write clear and detailed user stories with acceptance criteria, ensuring they are well-understood by the development team.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and maintain alignment.
  • Deliver the CORE team's product development efficiently and in line with agreed timelines.
  • Promote adherence to Agile principles, guiding the team to stay aligned with Agile best practices.
  • Gather and analyze customer feedback to continuously improve the product.

Required Skills:

  • 3+ years of experience from a leading role in a product development environment.
  • General knowledge about the payments industry or extensive experience from high-transaction environments.
  • Engineering background in cloud platforms, preferably GCP.
  • Knowledge and experience from leading development teams in an Agile environment.
  • Key qualities are integrity, analytical skills, and ability to create buy-in around you. You enjoy taking the lead and bringing people along on the journey.
  • Strong drive and interest in building great products.
