In this role, you'll oversee a sub-project team of control engineers responsible for designing and implementing control systems that meet customer requirements. Your technical expertise will be invaluable in driving project success and ensuring delivery of high-quality solutions.

As a leader, you'll play a critical role in the project, serving as the interface between the control engineering team and customers as well as other project team members. You'll work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with many interfaces within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire a sub-project team of control engineers to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
  • Drive project success by providing technical guidance and support to the team.
  • Take overall technical responsibility for the team's technical scope of work and ability to meet scheduling requirements.
  • Cultivate a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team.
  • Ensure adherence to Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity.

Requirements

  • To succeed in this position, you must be a confident leader with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • You hold a BSc or MSc in Engineering with a specialization in electrical systems, automatic control theory, software engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience from similar technical engineering positions working with design of electrical power plants, converter stations, process control systems, substation automation or similar.
  • You are organized, responsive and solution-driven, with a strong focus on delivering results.
  • Proficiency in English is required. Swedish is considered as a valuable skill.
