About the Role

The position of Electrical Engineer for Converter Control offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology, developing and testing software that powers tomorrow's electric grids. As a member of our HVDC team, you will be responsible for managing customer requirements and contracts, while also contributing to the development of innovative solutions in power systems automation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing software in HiDraw: Program and maintain control software using HiDraw.
  • Customer Requirements Management: Understand and implement customer requirements into the system's functionality and control software.
  • Testing and Troubleshooting: Perform lab tests on control sequences and interlocks to ensure the HVDC system operates safely and reliably.
  • Work on Frequency Regulation and Future Technologies: Implement additional features like frequency control and contribute to developing multi-terminal HVDC and DC grids, which are part of the future of power networks.
