Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Power System Engineer to join our team at Hitachi Energy. As a member of our Control Systems department, you'll play a crucial role in designing and developing control systems for High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop control systems for HVDC projects, meeting customer requirements and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with customers, project managers, and other technical teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with proposed designs, prioritizing safety and efficiency.
  • Coordinate technical interfaces with other domains, facilitating seamless project execution.
  • Continuously improve processes and share best practices across projects, driving innovation and excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Power Systems, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Coordinating and planning abilities, with experience working with Power Systems, Control & Protection.
  • Fluency in English, with knowledge of Swedish being beneficial.
  • Azure DevOps experience is a plus, but not mandatory.
