Overview

Linxon is a leading engineering company that specializes in turnkey substation solutions for power transmission, renewable energy, and transportation. We are seeking a highly skilled Primary Engineer to join our team as a Substation Design Lead.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead the design of large and complex high-voltage air and gas-insulated substation (AIS & GIS) projects, ensuring compliance with customer needs, legislative demands, and industry standards.
  • Provide technical leadership and expertise in electro-mechanical engineering, including layouts, sections, calculations, grounding and lightning design, civil design inputs, steel design inputs, transformer design inputs, and HV/MV switchgear design.
  • Prepare technical specifications, select components, and specify connection materials for primary equipment and accessories.
  • Collaborate with customers and contractors to ensure effective project coordination and delivery.

Requirements

  • Master's or bachelor's degree in any engineering discipline.
  • At least 5 years of experience in primary engineering design, with expertise in substation design and engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office and design calculation tools, including MicroStation, Revit, BIM, and AutoCAD.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
