Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced CSA Construction Manager to join our team at Clear Engineering Recruitment LTD. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for managing the co-ordination of Civil, Structural, and Architectural work packages, ensuring the successful execution of projects while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Manage the co-ordination of Civil, Structural, and Architectural work packages, ensuring timely completion and adherence to project schedules.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of CSA supervisors, engineers, and package managers to deliver the CSA scope on fast-track and technical projects.
  • Safety Management: Manage site safety in conjunction with the Project Manager and Project Safety Team, ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel.
  • Quality Assurance: Develop and manage a project delivery strategy for the CSA work, ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulations.
  • Procurement and Design: Plan and monitor procurement, design, engineering, and installation aspects for all CSA works, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project schedules.
  • Commercial Management: Support the commercial team to create 'Scope of Work' documents and sub-contract packages for sub-contract enquiries and appointments.
  • Client Liaison: Liaise with clients to ensure necessary information is prioritized and issued in a timely manner, aligning with the construction schedule.
  • Sub-Contractor Management: Manage sub-contractor activities, including tracking progress against schedule and resource levels.
  • Reporting and Communication: Issue daily and weekly reports to the project management team members, ensuring effective communication and project status updates.
Requirements
  • Relevant Qualifications: Relevant Construction degree qualification or similar.
  • Experience: At least 7 years of CSA construction site experience, with a strong background in managing and successfully completing CSA work packages.
  • Skills: Ability to maintain an overview of entire projects while managing all technical aspects, experience in scheduling, programming, and sequencing, including 4 and 12 week look-ahead forecasts.
  • Leadership: Experience in effectively managing internal construction teams and delivering large-scale projects.
