Senior Security Engineer Position at PostNord Group

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Security Engineer to join our Security Operations team at PostNord Group. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective operation of our cybersecurity incident logging & monitoring, incident response, and vulnerability management processes.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure the effective operation of the cybersecurity incident response process and streamline response to common attacks.
- Coordinate cybersecurity incident response within the PostNord Group.
- Implement modern SIEM (Azure Sentinel) to unify visibility across PostNord Group.
- Reduce manual effort by using automated investigation, remediation, and response playbooks.
- Ensure alert quality, design, and implement proactive threat hunting processes.
- Perform/assist in threat hunting, forensic investigations, analyzing alerts, and assessing vulnerabilities.
We are looking for a highly experienced IT security specialist with a strong background in Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems and Security Operations Centers (SOC). You should have a deep understanding of IT Security principles, with strong capabilities in investigating and resolving security incidents.
You will be responsible for visualizing complex problems and presenting solutions both technically and to executive stakeholders. Proficiency in various security tools and technologies, including Microsoft Defender suite and Microsoft Purview, is essential. Knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and endpoint security solutions is also required.
Experience with regulatory compliance and cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and GDPR is highly desirable. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a methodical approach to tasks, are essential. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical audiences, are also required.
