About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Optical Engineer to contribute to the development of cutting-edge optical systems. You'll work closely with our team to design and develop sophisticated lenses and optical components using advanced ray tracing software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply your knowledge of optical principles to design and develop optical components and subsystems
  • Collaborate with our team to ensure seamless integration of optical components into larger systems
  • Develop specifications and testing methods for optical subsystems
  • Conduct thorough tolerance analyses to ensure optimal performance

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in applied physics, optical engineering, or a related field
  • 4-8 years of experience in designing and developing optical systems
  • Deep understanding of lens design, including aberration theory, MTF/PSF, and image quality assessment
  • Proficiency in optical modeling software like Zemax or CODE V
  • Experience with diffractive optics, optical coatings, and non-visible light sensing technologies
