Production Planning Analyst

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Planning Analyst to join our team at JELD-WEN. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for ensuring that we meet our customer commitments in the most resource-efficient way possible.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement production plans in consultation with the production manager, taking into account prevailing capacity levels.
  • Translate customer orders into production plans and coordinate with the production team to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Collaborate with the supply chain team, production team, and internal customers to offer flexibility and cost efficiency.
  • Analyze and improve delivery performance, both internal and external.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to prevent delays and address any issues that may arise.
  • Contribute to the development of the information and material flow within the organization.
  • Participate in production management meetings and follow-ups to ensure alignment and progress.
  • Maintain our ERP system with accurate and up-to-date data.

Requirements

  • Good analytical skills and ability to work with data.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • High degree of responsibility and attention to detail.
  • Experience in purchasing, warehousing, and distribution, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel, and ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of Lean Production principles and practices.
