Materials Planner

The Sr Materials Planner position is responsible for ensuring the continuity of supply of raw materials and the dynamic movement/distribution of subassemblies/semi-finished goods. This role requires a quick turnaround time and providing key feedback to stakeholders.

This position is part of the Instrument team and will be located on-site in Solna. At Cepheid, our vision is to be the leading provider of seamlessly connected diagnostic solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with IMAG to maintain and continuously improve material inventory velocity
• Analyze data and present results with recommendations for increasing efficiency of material and assessing inventory levels against customer needs
• Work closely with the Engineering team to explore product and/or process problems and create and resolve Change Orders and implement materials management modifications
• Collaborate with other Supply Chain Operations functions, Finance, and Manufacturing to achieve continuous material flow

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field
• 7+ years of work experience in a similar position
• Experience leading parameter initiation in SAP or a related MRP platform to ensure continuity of supply to manufacturing and On-Time Delivery of Finished Goods to customers
• Experience in BOM analysis, Materials data management, and Standard Work
• Strong understanding of Product Lifecycle Management and software experience: SAP / Agile / Winshuttle / MS Office (particularly Excel)
• Ability to effectively communicate with and influence cross-functional teams
• Fluent in spoken and written English
• Ability to travel to the US and India a couple of times a year

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Supply Chain or Industrial Engineering
• Spoken and written proficiency in Swedish
