Job Summary:

The Purchasing and Supply Chain Professional will be responsible for overseeing the procurement process, negotiating with suppliers, maintaining inventory levels, and ensuring timely delivery of materials. The role also involves analyzing purchasing trends, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and collaborating with internal teams to meet organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Procure cast and/or machined metal parts, as well as other components for rotating machinery, such as bearings, seals, and other standard items.
• Use the Monitor ERP system as your primary tool for both purchasing and production planning.
• Analyze purchasing trends and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to meet organizational goals.

Requirements:

• More than 5 years of experience in purchasing or similar tasks.
• Familiarity with using ERP systems for purchasing, preferably Monitor.
• Knowledge and experience in machining processes.
• Broad technical knowledge.
• Procurement, Negotiation, and Inventory Management skills.
• Supply Chain Management and Vendor Relationship Management skills.
• Data Analysis and Cost Optimization skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
