Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at Inter IKEA Group. As a key member of our quality team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of incoming materials and collaborating with suppliers to develop and implement quality strategies.
Key Responsibilities- Quality Development: Lead and coordinate the development of quality standards and procedures for purchased materials, ensuring compliance with IKEA requirements.
- Supplier Management: Implement and communicate IKEA's material specifications to suppliers, and regularly audit key suppliers to ensure quality.
- Complaint Management: Manage complaints against suppliers and follow up on quality deficiencies.
- Collaboration: Work closely with ICOMP Procurement to develop supplier action plans, quality strategies, and support the supplier classification process.
- Quality Assurance: Create internal structures for supplier quality assurance (SQA) and contribute to a strong quality mindset among partners, suppliers, and colleagues.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience: Proven experience in material deviation handling and quality improvement in manufacturing businesses.
- Skills: Strong skills in quality tools and processes, ensuring quality and accuracy.
- Education: A higher education in the area of Engineering.
- Personal Qualities: Attention to detail, great analytical ability, and a structured approach. You should be able to take initiative and act decisively, with a high ability to lead, coordinate, and follow up.
