Responsibilities
As a Product Deviation Leader, your primary responsibility is to manage and coordinate activities related to high-impact deviations that affect safety, legal compliance, and/or the IKEA brand's reputation. This includes evaluating and classifying alarms related to safety and compliance, providing urgent on-duty support for critical deviations, and facilitating decisions in the Product Risk and Compliance Council meetings.

Some of your key responsibilities include:
  • Ensuring proper documentation and sharing of knowledge and learnings within the organization.
  • Evaluating incoming deviation reports for safety & compliance.
  • Providing urgent stand-by support (On-Duty) connected to the high-impact product deviations when applicable.
You will also be responsible for contributing to developing and improving ways of working, training programs, and tools, mentoring and coaching colleagues to build their competence in deviation processes, and participating in special assignments in the product risk and compliance area.

To succeed in this role, we wish that you have knowledge of IKEA concept, strategies, and IKEA processes, very good knowledge of IKEA requirements, standards, and test methods or other international requirements, test methods, and standards, good knowledge of the requirement process, including requirement management and experience from risk assessment/risk management, and experience from legal/regulatory work and product requirement/compliance in an international environment.
