Internal Auditor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Internal Auditor to join our team at Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB. As an Internal Auditor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effectiveness of our internal controls and risk management processes.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and participate in audit assignments to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and risk management processes.
- Contribute to the development of the annual audit plan by identifying areas of high risk and developing audit objectives.
- Support quarterly reporting and quality assurance of audit assignments.
- Act as a role model and coach for less experienced team members.
- Cross-collaborate with other teams to ensure timely delivery of audit assignments.
- A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in the banking industry or similar, preferably with an external or internal audit background.
- Experience in working with risk management and regulatory compliance within the financial sector, including market risk, credit risk, and liquidity risk.
- Curiosity, high integrity, and enjoyment in working in teams with mixed skills and backgrounds in project-type assignments.
- Self-driven with high energy and enthusiasm, as well as a willingness to take ownership.
- The ability to see the big picture while still keeping an eye on the details.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trust and relationships at all levels in the organization.
- An applicable university degree and fluency in English (both verbally and written).
