Senior Financial Controller

As our new Senior Financial Controller, you will play a pivotal role in our R&D/Technology/Global functions team, responsible for overseeing financial operations at both our Karlskrona and Cologne sites. You will be at the forefront of driving projects that push the boundaries of technology in the energy sector, ensuring our financial operations are robust, efficient, and aligned with our ambitious goals.

• Partner with project managers to develop business cases for groundbreaking projects, conduct monthly follow-ups, and manage both tangible and intangible CAPEX, including capitalization processes, asset depreciation, and necessary postings and corrections.
• Oversee project management within SAP, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless internal order creation and project settlement.
• Engage with key stakeholders to validate accrual journals, streamline intercompany transactions, and ensure financial accuracy.
• Collaborate with R&D teams to finalize project settlements, ensuring time-writing and internal balances are aligned with project outcomes.
• Deliver strategic analysis on gross margins, CAPEX, and OPEX, providing actionable insights that influence decision-making at all levels.

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
• 3-5 years of experience in finance or business controlling, preferably in an international environment.
• Proficiency in SAP/ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
• A collaborative, business-minded approach, with excellent analytical and communication skills in English.
• A proactive attitude with a commitment to continuous improvement and delivering results.
