About the Job

We are looking for a passionate researcher to join our multidisciplinary team of translational scientists, physicians, statisticians, basic researchers, and computational scientists working towards advancing breast cancer research.

The selected postdoctoral candidate will work on identifying and validating immunotherapy biomarkers and exploring novel therapeutic targets in breast cancer.

What We Offer

The scholarship holder will be affiliated to the research group at Department of Oncology-Pathology and will work closely with Dr. Ioannis Zerdes and Professor Theodoros Foukakis.

The main tasks will include performing flow cytometry, in vitro assays, PBMC isolation, organoids, and working with mouse models to explore the immunological aspects of breast cancer.

The research group is located at Bioclinicum in Solna, within the Department of Oncology-Pathology at Karolinska Institute.

Your Profile

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated candidate with a strong background in immunology and cancer research.

The ideal candidate should have a PhD in medicine, immunology, biotechnology, or a related field, and experience in flow cytometry, in vitro assays, and working with mouse models.

Previous experience in translational research, particularly in immunology and cancer, is also desirable.
