About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Health, Safety and Environmental Manager to join our team at Mondelēz International. As a key member of our plant leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our HS&E strategy, ensuring compliance with all regulations and company policies, and providing technical expertise to support the achievement of our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and drive HS&E strategy and agenda for the site, participating in management reviews and identifying cross-site opportunities.
  • Lead the HS&E team and provide coaching and support as required.
  • Ensure relevant safety and environmental training requirements are identified and developed, and that training packages are delivered to support the implementation of Mondelez standards and procedures.
  • Lead the development of systems and processes to achieve and exceed compliance with all HS&E requirements and company policies.
  • Conduct assessments of the plant's performance against relevant Mondelez International standards.
  • Provide technical, analytically based solutions and advice as a key member of the plant leadership team on issues relating to safety and environment.

Requirements

  • Experience as a Health, Safety and Environment Practitioner, preferably within a manufacturing or commercial environment.
  • Strong people management experience and the ability to implement cultural change.
  • Experience of coaching individuals and managing a team, change management, and project management.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and influencing skills with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated experience with local regulatory management.
