Solution Engineer Opportunity

AB Volvo is seeking a skilled Solution Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing innovative solutions that drive sustainability and growth. You will collaborate with a talented team to design and implement cutting-edge solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and implement SAP change requests and runtime issues in collaboration with support functions, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption.
  • Act as an IT Project Manager for local industrial projects, overseeing the IT aspects of software and hardware implementation to meet project objectives.
  • Prioritize and communicate process changes, plan implementation, and manage training activities to ensure efficient software solutions that meet business needs.
  • Coordinate site-level SAP Key Users forums and collaborate with global SAP teams to foster knowledge sharing and best practices.
  • Initiate and drive digitalization initiatives across the factory and office environments, leveraging technology to improve productivity and efficiency.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of SAP and other business applications for the manufacturing industry.
  • Experience in project management in an agile context.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in Swedish and English.
  • Open-minded, positive, creative, and proactive approach to problem-solving.
