As a Solution Engineer, you will play a vital role in managing our SAP systems, acting as an IT project manager, driving digitalization, and contributing to the overall delivery of our local VCE Digital & IT Site Support & Digital Transformation team.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies, collaborate with skilled colleagues, and contribute to shaping the future of transportation solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:

  1. Managing and resolving SAP change requests and runtime issues in collaboration with support functions.
  2. Acting as an IT Project Manager for industrial projects, overseeing the IT aspects, including software and hardware.
  3. Prioritizing, developing, and communicating process changes, planning implementation, and managing training activities while focusing on efficiency and harmonization of software solutions.
  4. Coordinating site SAP Key Users forums and collaborating with global SAP teams.
  5. Initiating and driving digitalization initiatives in the factory and office.
Key Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  1. A strong understanding of SAP and its Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) processes within a manufacturing environment.
  2. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to convert requirements into viable cost-effective system solutions.
  3. Experience and interest in digitalization, data analytics, and machine integration, with a creative mindset to solve complex issues.
  4. Fluency in Swedish and English, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  5. Ability to work collaboratively, prioritize tasks effectively, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
