Job Overview

At Infotree Global Solutions, we are seeking a skilled Senior Packaging Development Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our cross-functional scrum team, you will be responsible for the translation of requirements into sub-system requirements related to packaging.

Key Responsibilities

  • We are looking for someone with experience in the Packaging industry, particularly in the area of Primary and Secondary packaging including openings and closures.
  • You will define VV strategy related to package area and execute it.
  • Your responsibilities will also include writing test specifications, performing tests, analyzing package performance functionality results and documenting results using reports.
  • Furthermore, you will coordinate and execute package activities according to existing procedures, standards and methods.
  • In addition, you will drive root cause investigations on package performance and functionality.
  • Moreover, you will drive risk assessment for package.
  • Lastly, you will develop and implement new procedures, test validation methods according to requirements.

Requirements

  • We require an academic degree, preferably a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering or equivalent title.
  • Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal, are essential, as well as networking skills and the ability to manage stakeholders.
  • Analytical skills, structured and process-oriented, are also required, along with the ability to manage complexity and ambiguity.
  • Experience in the Packaging industry is necessary.
  • Familiarity with Packaging Material, Food Package Interaction, and Statistics is desirable.

Preferred Skills

  • Past experience in the Product development process in the Package area is preferred.
  • Experience in technical test methodologies in the area of Primary and Secondary packaging including openings and closures is also preferred.
  • Well-acquainted and self-sufficient in Physical Testing is another desirable skill.
  • Knowledge of Requirement Management procedures and Risk Assessment is also beneficial.

Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year
