Senior Feature Leader in Transport Effectiveness

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Feature Leader to join our Vehicle Dynamics and Automation team within Complete Vehicle at AB Volvo. As a Senior Feature Leader, you will be responsible for leading the transport effectiveness customer feature area and driving the feature development across the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Define requirements and verification methods to verify and validate the feature level agreed on by the project description.
- Translate the product targets into quantifiable product requirements together with the project team.
- Create verification & validation plan for the feature in projects.
- Secure, maintain, and develop the feature knowledge over a longer time period for different brands, segments, markets & applications.
- Drive the feature development across the organization.
- Lead a defined Feature area with varied technical complexity.
- Synchronize the feature between projects.
- Secure translation of customer usage and their requirements by continuously updating test methods or design requirements.
- Secure brand, segment, and application distinction for features.
- Secure feature development plans and provide input to feature roadmaps.
- Manage networks across the organization or globally within the feature domain.
- Participate in business development and innovation.
You will work alongside some of the most accomplished colleagues in the industry, including ADAS, Brake, Ride, and Handling feature validation engineers and test engineers. Our team is dedicated to making our customers happy and creating a better, safer, and more sustainable future.
Requirements- M.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar, or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 5 years of working experience in vehicle dynamics as an engineer or as feature engineer or as test engineer.
- Good understanding of transport effectiveness customer feature.
- Good knowledge of truck application and customer usage.
- Knowledge about agile way of working.
- A holistic view, strong communication skills, the ability to work cross-functionally, and the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Proactiveness, flexibility, and a strong motivation to learn.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Furthermore, having a C/CE License would be considered a plus.
