Sustainable Transport Solutions Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Specialist in Transport Effectiveness to join our team at Volvo Group. As a key member of our Vehicle Dynamics and Automation team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of sustainable transport solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define requirements and verification methods to ensure feature-level agreement with project descriptions.
- Translate product targets into quantifiable product requirements with the project team.
- Create verification and validation plans for features in projects.
- Secure, maintain, and develop feature knowledge over time for different brands, segments, and markets.
- Drive feature development across the organization.
- Lead a defined feature area with varied technical complexity.
- Synchronize features between projects.
- Secure translation of customer usage and requirements by updating test methods or design requirements.
- Ensure brand, segment, and application distinction for features.
Requirements:
- M.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar, or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 8 years of working experience in vehicle dynamics as an engineer or feature engineer or test engineer.
- Good understanding of transport effectiveness customer features.
- Good knowledge of truck application and customer usage.
- Knowledge of agile working practices.
- Holistic view, communicative, working cross-functionally, and building strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Mandatory to have C/CE License.
- Demonstrate proactiveness, flexibility, motivated to mentor, coach, and learn.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
