About the Role

Bid Manager

We are seeking a skilled Bid Manager to join our team at Siemens Energy in Finspång, Sweden. As a Bid Manager, you will be responsible for selling reserve parts and coordinating reserve parts projects to Siemens MGT Gasturbiner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to increase reserve parts sales
  • Collaborate with local sales representatives and sales teams around the world to plan, offer, and sell reserve parts in a timely and accurate manner
  • Responsible for extra sales of reserve parts and field service personnel during ongoing service inspections of our gas turbines
  • Drive larger reserve parts projects together with technology
  • Responsible for forecasting and budgeting of sales on your market - both short and long-term forecasting
  • Improve sales of reserve parts continuously, opportunity to drive and participate in business development projects, and represent reserve parts sales in one or more interface forums
Requirements
  • High school education and likely several years of work experience after graduation
  • Technical interest
  • Experience in sales
  • Interest in improving customer relationships
  • Enjoy working in a coordinating role with multiple interfaces and many balls in the air
  • Organized and structured, likes problem-solving and strategic thinking
  • Good knowledge of Swedish and English is required for good communication with internal and external contacts
  • A team player with ease of working within and across departmental boundaries and with various professions is a given in this work
  • Economic knowledge is seen as meritorious
  • Good computer skills and experience of working in MS Office, previous experience of working in SAP is meritorious
