Production Technician

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Technician to join our team at Altris, a pioneering company in the field of sodium-ion battery technology. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting equipment on our battery cell assembly line.

Key Responsibilities

1. Equipment Operation and Maintenance

Operate manufacturing equipment and machinery to produce battery cells according to production schedules and specifications.

Conduct regular inspections and quality checks on battery cells and components to ensure they meet required standards and specifications.

Identify and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and process deviations, working closely with engineers and other team members to resolve issues promptly.

Maintain accurate records of production activities, including work performed, materials used, and any issues encountered.

Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, including the proper handling of chemicals and materials, and ensure the regular cleaning and maintenance of machines, to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, providing feedback on production processes and suggesting enhancements to improve efficiency, quality, and safety.

Requirements

1. Education and Experience

A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Experience working in a manufacturing environment is highly beneficial.

Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems is required. Vocational or technical training related to manufacturing, electronics, or a related field is highly beneficial.

Good written and verbal communication skills (English) are essential. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment, with effective communication skills.

Creativity and GRIT with a can-do attitude are essential. An eagerness to continuously learn and adapt to new situations is required.
