Digital Construction Expert

The role of a Digital Construction Expert at Northvolt ETT AB is to drive the advancement of our Building Information Modeling (BIM) capabilities. This involves developing scripts and automation processes, creating ways of working to capture digital as-built information, ensuring BIM standards are maintained, and supporting project teams in complex BIM-related tasks.

• Develop and implement automation scripts to streamline BIM workflows and improve model management.
• Maintain and ensure adherence to BIM standards, best practices, and documentation requirements to guarantee seamless coordination within assigned projects.
• Assist project teams in utilizing BIM software and tools, ensuring the accurate execution of models and drawings, and providing training and mentorship on BIM technologies and workflows.
• Liaise between technical, design, and construction teams to ensure BIM objectives are met, and conduct quality control checks on BIM models to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards.

The Digital Construction Expert is accountable for complying with company processes and procedures on BIM, ensuring the delivery of BIM information is on-time, within scope, and in compliance with quality, safety, and sustainability goals.

• Approve NV ETT specific BIM guidelines, procedures, technical standards, and specifications.
• Determine the codes, technologies, and methodologies to be followed for BIM.
• Develop strategies for BIM within approved parameters.
• Coordinate BIM-related engineering activities, ensuring effective communication and execution of deliverables.
