Belmontlavan is seeking an experienced Information Security Specialist to join our team for a 6-month contract position. As an Information Security Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our organization's information assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement information security policies and procedures to protect against cyber threats and data breaches.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential security risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with information security standards and regulations, such as ISO 27000 and NIST.
  • Provide training and awareness programs to employees on information security best practices and policies.
  • Develop and maintain incident response plans to ensure timely and effective response to security incidents.
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience working in information security, with a focus on risk management and compliance.
  • Experience with information security standards, such as ISO 27000 and NIST.
  • Knowledge of data protection regulations, such as the Data Protection Regulation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate security risks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Relevant certifications, such as CISSP or CISM.
  • Experience working in a complex and/or politically controlled organization.
  • Experience with information security in healthcare.
Language Skills
  • Fluent in English (en-US)
