Role Summary

The Grant Acquisition Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to secure funding for our programs. This involves identifying and coordinating funding opportunities, project proposals, and budgets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and coordinate funding opportunities
  • Develop project proposals and budgets for donors
  • Ensure compliance with donor requirements and contractual obligations
  • Coordinate annual planning and grant reporting
  • Conduct budget follow-ups and quality assurance

Requirements:

We are looking for a highly organized, analytical, and proactive professional who thrives in an international environment. You must have:

  • A relevant academic degree (e.g., political science, international relations, development studies)
  • At least five years of relevant work experience in international development cooperation
  • Knowledge of project and results management, including budgeting and budget follow-ups
  • Experience in securing grants and donor reporting
  • Fluency in French and English is required

Desirable Skills:

The following skills are highly desirable:

  • Knowledge of Swedish and/or EU development cooperation
  • Experience working with institutional donors
  • Knowledge of gender, conflict, and human rights in development cooperation
