The Role

You will play a pivotal role in developing high-quality circuit board designs that meet stringent performance, emission, and manufacturing standards. You'll work closely with hardware designers, production teams, and other key stakeholders to ensure each layout is optimized for reliability and compliance.

Responsibilities
  • Design Development: Create high-quality circuit board designs using industry-standard tools.
  • Compliance and Best Practices: Ensure compliance with relevant standards and best practices in PCB design.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with hardware designers to transition schematics into efficient and reliable PCB designs.
  • Manufacturing Alignment: Collaborate with production teams to ensure layouts are manufacturable and cost-efficient.
  • Design Improvement: Troubleshoot and improve existing designs, identifying opportunities for refinement and optimization.
Qualifications
  • A degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field.
  • Proficiency in PCB design tools, preferably Mentor Graphics.
  • A strong understanding of RF emissions, isolation distances, and electronic standards.
  • Experience working with or alongside production teams to align designs with manufacturing processes.
  • An eye for detail and a commitment to creating high-quality designs.
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Swedish is beneficial.
