About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Designer to join our team at Wayfinder. As a Product Designer, you will play a crucial role in shaping our product and ensuring it meets the needs of our users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design Ownership: You will be responsible for researching solutions, ideating with the engineering team, and creating designs for implementation.
  • Stakeholder Management: You will work closely with product management, engineers, and other stakeholders to align user needs with innovation and bridge the gap from concept to launch.
  • Prototyping & Testing: You will create interactive prototypes using Figma for stakeholder feedback and validate your designs through user testing platforms.
  • Design Systems: You will manage and expand our design system to ensure consistency and scalability across our digital products and pre-defined brand.
  • Collaboration Tools: You will use Slack, Notion, and Figma for cross-functional communication, project management, and documentation.
Requirements
  • Design Expertise: You have a strong grasp of user-centered design methodologies and are highly skilled in Figma.
  • Curiosity & Adaptability: You thrive on learning new things, especially in unfamiliar domains, and are excited by the challenge of understanding complex processes.
  • Collaborative Team Player: You excel at building strong working relationships across various teams and actively seek feedback.
  • Self-Starter with Ownership Mindset: You take ownership of projects, from concept to delivery, and value feedback and iteration.
  • Entrepreneurial Spirit: You are comfortable in a fast-paced, ever-evolving startup environment and are enthusiastic about creating innovative solutions.
