About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced medical expert in infectious diseases and vaccines to join our team as a Senior Medical Affairs Scientist. As a key member of our medical affairs team, you will be responsible for leading the medical dialogue and driving strategic communication with healthcare professionals and academia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement customer-focused medical strategies and identify opportunities for collaborative projects with external partners.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to optimize patient outcomes through internal and external collaboration.
  • Lead the medical dialogue with external partners through long-term relationships and strategic partnerships.
  • Collaborate with national and international colleagues and external partners to develop plans for product launches and the entire product lifecycle.
  • Engage thought leaders and key institutions in Pfizer-sponsored research and other research collaborations.
  • Support Pfizer-sponsored clinical research in the country by identifying research opportunities and high-performing institutions.
  • Collaborate with healthcare economists to effectively create value-based data strategies and plans for pipeline products.
  • Proactively build strategic partnerships, strong internal collaboration, and lead cross-functional teams effectively.
  • Create innovative solutions, methods, and techniques to achieve set goals.
  • Ensure compliance with the company's high ethical standards and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Specialist in infectious diseases with a strong scientific evidence-based approach. A PhD is not required but is a merit.
  • Desirable: several years of experience from the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in the field of infectious diseases and vaccines.
  • Effective communication and listening skills, with fluency in both Swedish and English.
  • Business acumen and understanding of the pharmaceutical industry's conditions.
  • A dynamic and innovative approach to meeting challenges, creating new concepts, and finding solutions to problems in a changing environment.
  • Results-driven and self-motivated to exceed set goals and create value for our customers and patients.
  • Deep scientific knowledge and experience in the therapeutic area, as well as good knowledge of our Swedish healthcare system.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations and the ability to maintain business acumen within ethical frameworks.
