About the ProjectThe project focuses on the applicability of machine learning methods in room impulse response estimation and equalization filters optimization within automotive. You will explore the world of automotive technology and work on cutting-edge research projects under the mentorship of experienced professionals.
Responsibilities- Study state-of-the-art literature relevant to RIR estimation and EQ filter optimization
- Select at least three suitable candidates for RIR estimation and EQ filter optimization
- Implement the selected candidates in Python and benchmark them
- Perform measurements of different rooms/cabins to model/tune the RIR estimation models
- Evaluate and compare the performance of the selected RIR methods
- With the derived RIR models, find suitable EQ filters to compensate for room effects
- Evaluate and compare the performance of the selected EQ filters
- Master's degree in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering
- Strong background in embedded software development and signal processing
- Excellent programming skills in Python
- Experience with machine learning methods and their application in automotive communication technologies
