We are seeking a skilled Emission Reduction Specialist to join our client's Exhaust Aftertreatment System department in Gothenburg. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the global platform development of exhaust aftertreatment systems for heavy-duty combustion engine applications.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Calibration and Verification: Ensure the calibration and verification of various exhaust aftertreatment system functionalities, including SCR NOx reduction, DPF soot management, and regeneration control, to meet emission requirements.
  • Test Planning and Execution: Plan and perform tests in the engine laboratory and in vehicle testing environments to validate system performance.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze test data and system behavior to ensure that all functions are optimized and aligned with compliance standards.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement in calibration methods and ensure the latest technologies and processes are integrated into the testing and validation phases.
  • Collaboration: Work with other teams and suppliers to ensure the smooth integration of aftertreatment systems.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and present engineering reports, summarizing test results and providing recommendations for further development.

About You:

  • Education: A Master of Science or equivalent degree in a relevant technical field (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Automotive Engineering).
  • Experience: Experience within combustion engine and/or exhaust aftertreatment development is desirable.
  • Skills: Strong communication skills, fluent in English (both written and spoken).
  • Collaborative Mindset: A collaborative mindset and a focus on continuous improvement and learning.

Salary Range: SEK 60,000 - 80,000 per month depending on experience.
