Gelato Technology

Our cloud-based connectivity platform enables world-class on-demand production for e-commerce platforms and applications. We have developed an engineered platform that provides customers with access to over 130 production partners in 32 countries, including production plate design, routing to an appropriate partner, and linking to logistics systems for delivery to consumers.

This platform runs on various technologies, including backends using PHP and GoLang, mobile apps built natively or with hybrid technology, and cloud services. Our team designs highly-available, fault-tolerant, cost-effective, and scalable systems using TDD, BDD, DDD principles and patterns, and agile methodology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize the latest technologies to solve real-world problems at scale
  • Collaborate closely with other engineers as a valuable member of a cross-functional team
  • Share knowledge and build creative solutions while helping the team evolve best practices
  • Design, develop, and deploy backend services focusing on high availability, low latency, and scalability
  • Take end-to-end responsibility for owned services, including participating in an on-call rotation
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computer Sciences
  • Ability to adapt quickly as the organization scales
  • Possession of growth mentality, curiosity, and willingness to experiment
  • Strong communication skills, high integrity, and attention to detail
  • Solid experience designing, developing, and maintaining API-driven solutions
