About the Role

Our team is responsible for owning the Firewalls and Proxies of Telia Company, ensuring organizations and business customers' networks and systems remain protected from cyber threats.

We participate in Service Assurance work (Incident, Problem, and Change Management) and support Telia's Product teams by designing and implementing security customer solutions. We work according to DevSecOps principles, building and operating security solutions.

As Senior Security Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing the life cycle of Telia's security solutions, designing network and cloud security architectures, and participating in their upkeep.

Your tasks will include collaborating with Telia's Cyber Security Product Unit, engaging early in development initiatives, and handling on-call duties as part of 3rd line support. You will also work on problem-solving and developing applications and scripts for security management tools.

Who We're Looking For

You have a degree in IT or Telecommunications and proven experience working within IT and Networks. You are not afraid of challenges and are ready for continuous improvement of your responsibility area.

You possess good communication skills, strong collaboration skills, and are fluent in English. Your experience includes maintaining security solutions, firewalls, and proxies, as well as several years of work in network and IT environments.

You are well-versed in TCP/IP networking and LAN, have cloud experience, and are familiar with Git/GitLab, Python, and other scripting languages.
