As a talented student, you have the opportunity to explore and document software segregation strategies in a container-based Linux system. This project aims to develop a strategy for securely isolating the machine control application from the software component that communicates with external systems and the cloud.
Key Objectives:
- Research and evaluate various segregation strategies, particularly in a container-based environment.
- Design and propose a solution that effectively isolates the medical software component from external network interfaces, mitigating risks from external traffic, hacker attacks, and other cybersecurity threats.
- Produce a comprehensive report documenting the best practices and recommended approach to secure the Linux-based system architecture.
Requirements:
- Knowledge in Linux operating systems and containerization technologies .
- Interest in cybersecurity principles and secure software design .
- Strong problem-solving skills and a drive for developing high-quality, impactful solutions.
