About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Center Engineering Operations Technician to join our team in Sweden. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our data centers, providing technical support, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the operation and maintenance of electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment within the data center.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems, voice/data, cooling systems, and fire/life safety equipment.
  • Provide assistance to contractors or data center engineers to ensure proper operation and maintenance of all facility equipment.
  • Perform site walk-throughs to verify proper operation of facility equipment and monitoring systems.
  • Act as a facilities first responder to critical events and participate in the team supporting new data center facilities and existing data center facilities.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of electrical, mechanical, and/or controls relevant experience (degree or trade qualification preferred).
  • Demonstrate key electrical and mechanical competencies and theory.
  • Ability to maintain service level agreements (SLAs) through the implementation of proactive issue detection and immediate response.
  • Competent in use of basic IT programs such as MS Word/Excel or similar.
