About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Governance Specialist Internal Control for H&M Group to join our Corporate Governance team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting the organization in various internal control matters, including the design, implementation, and monitoring of controls.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the organization in various internal control matters, including the design, implementation, and monitoring of controls.
  • Work with the Corporate Governance team to continuously improve the Internal Control Framework.
  • Develop and implement training programs to ensure the organization has the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively manage internal controls.
  • Execute on the yearly cycle of internal control activities, including testing control efficiency and reporting on internal control areas.
  • Work with key performance indicators (KPIs) and follow-up performance to ensure the effectiveness of internal controls.
  • Act as a project manager for cross-functional projects within the internal control area.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in economics, law, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in internal audit or control, with a focus on internal control and risk management.
  • Experience in both operational and strategic internal control management.
  • Experience in change management in large international organizations.
  • Experience in project management and stakeholder engagement.
  • Verbal and written fluency in English, with Swedish being a plus.
  • Practical experience with GRC tooling and other relevant technical solutions.
  • Strong analytical, conceptual, and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to identify key issues and develop relevant solutions.
  • Excellent facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex processes and findings in a simple and pragmatic way.
